About the database
Grove Music Online is the online music gateway provided by Oxford University Press (OUP). It comprises the content of five key music resources published by OUP: The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, The New Grove Dictionary of Opera, The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms and The Oxford Companion to Western Art. The gateway gives access to various articles, biographies of classic and contemporary composers, fragments of sound recordings, related links to other websites, video or audio archives.
The databases have been subscribed to since 2007.

Access conditions
The databases can be accessed either at the library or at home, but only by the users of the libraries that have subscribed to the database. To obtain a password, the users have to contact the subscribing libraries.
