Off-the- job training of Myanmar librarians at the LMBA

8-10 November 2015. Dr. Hlaing Hlaing Gyi, Director of Yangon University Library, and Hla Hla Win, Director of Mandlay University Library, were provided with the of-the-job training at the LMBA. During the of-the-job training the trainees visited the Libraries of Vilnius University, Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas University of Health Sciences as well as the Headquarters of the Lithuanian Research Library Consortium. They were interested in the processes of compiling and developing the Union Catalogue, trainings delivered by the Universities, the activities of Library Consortiums. Dr. Hlaing Hlaing Gyi ir Hla Hla Win are going to apply the acquired knowledge in their home country.
