eMoDB.LT2: Opening of the Online Research Databases for Lithuania – Stage 2

On 30 May 2012 the Agreement on the implementation of the project eMoDB.LT2: Opening of the Online Research Databases for Lithuania – Stage 2 was signed between the European Social Fund Agency and the LMBA.

About the project

The project implementation period is scheduled from 30 05 2012 till 20 09 2015.
The budget of the Agreement totals LTL 29 323 910, 20 from which LTL 27 248 473, 98 are the EU and the Lithuanian state budget allocations and LTL 2 075 436, 28 – contributions by the LMBA members.

Project activities:

• Updating the modules of informal training on the use of online research information resources;
• Preparation, peer review and registration of the training program The Research Resources Online for students of master and doctoral studies;
• Drawing up the user tutorials on the use of online research information resources and their uploading to the internet;
• Conducting the continuous survey on the scope of the demand for training scientists and other researchers in the use of online research information resources and the content of such training;
• Organizing the international conferences for promoting the use of online research information resources;
• Organizing and delivering the training courses for scientists and other researchers on the use of online research information resources;
• Organizing and delivering the training courses for students of doctoral and master studies on the use of online research information resources;
• Organizing and delivering the training courses for librarians on the use of online research information resources and provision of consultations in this area;
• Subscription to the online research data bases;
• Subscription to the Research Management Tool;
• Subscription to/acquisition of the e-books collections.
